He still vividly remembers his poor childhood, where going to McDonald's was a rare and celebrated occasion. Many people wonder how Alex made a transition from transporting cement mix to making over a million dollars a year. The answer? Alex was determined not to quit or go back to his previous financial struggles.
Surrounded by his current prosperity, Alex often feels awed by how far he has come. He remembers a moment of epiphany that he experienced during one of his first big vacations with Andy :"I can remember floating in the surf in Oahu, Hawaii with Andy Albright on my first all expense paid trip from an insurance company. We were floating on some Noodles, looking back over the Ihilani Resort. There was a dormant volcano as a backdrop and it was all topped off with the clearest sky that you have ever seen. Andy looked at me and said, 'This is how we are going to live the rest of our lives.' He was right, we have. And it's just the beginning..."
Alex Fitzgerald is happily married to Heather. The two have recently two children and reside in Addison, TX.
